An absolutely Brilliant Month of Diving, with a fantastic atmosphere here in the club, it’s great to see everybody enjoying the diving here and as always no request here at Greenwichdiving is too small.

News in June

Again the weather has given us perfect diving conditions here in Campomanes – Altea and as always we have seen our divers out everyday enjoying our extensive range of dive – sites, cave dives and night dives.

A massive Well Done  to all our divers who successfully completed their Discover Scuba, Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Divemaster, and Speciality Courses this month … You have all now taken pride of place on our Greenwichdiving Club Noticeboard here at the centre .. As they say in Spanish. Enhorabuena … Congratulations.

On Saturday June 6th we were delighted to receive a visit by our friends from the Ecological Institute of Alicante. Discussing issues regarding some of the local species in need of protection the event was thoroughly enjoyed by the many divers who attended. Project Aware, Conservation and monitoring of our diving sites are Extremely Important to us and we look forward to the many planned event we have coming up during the summer. We now seem to have resident Moon Fish in the Cabo Toix area, check out our gallery for the latest photo’s …

Coming Up in July

New Instructor additions to the Team this Month are Dana from Australia ( the Tasmanian Devil )  and Kolinda from Holland ( The flying Dutchwoman ! ) and also  another Captain soon to join Ricardo (Sr. Apnea) we are building a fine team to continue offering unbeatable service here at the club.
Guido has recently been offered a job at Microsoft, however he has decided to stay with us to keep bringing you the best in Website Updates … There are some great additions coming up so keep a very close eye on events and new additions !!!

As many of you now know, our boat has now been updated with the latest in GPS and Sonda facilities enabling us to pinpoint new and exciting dive sites. Together with our On Board Music System, added lighting for extra night dive safety, we aim to continue to improve our service to our Divers. A second addition boat will soon be on its way and we will keep you updated with its progress.

We are delighted to see so many people from the local community joining in the fun here at Greenwichdiving.
