The Greenwichdiving Bubble – Newsletter No. 7 September 2009

Great to see old friends….  Thank you for your support.

With up to seven dives a day and three hundred different courses completed, August here was our busiest on record. We are delighted to see that all our investments in the dive centre and our team of staff maintained a very high standard of service to all our Divers.  This is just the start as greenwichdiving goes from strength to strength.

News in August:

Optimum conditions during August saw us diving all along the coast from Calpe, the bay of Altea and through to Benidorm Island and the famous La Llosa. Added to this, twice weekly visits to the Moraig Caves in Moraira and of course our now famous Moonlight BBQ´s by boat made for a very special month here at Greenwichdiving.  The sighting of dolphins on varies boat trips has added to the excitement that August had to offer.

Goodbye to all our divers from Madrid and the rest of Spain, we hope you enjoyed your holidays and it was fantastic to see you all again diving with us…..

A Massive Well Done to all our divers who successfully completed their Discover Scuba, Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Divemaster, Instructor and Speciality Courses this month …we have reached over three hundred courses already this year.
Congratulations and Thank to our Divers reach Silver Club status this month, We hope you enjoy the discount benefits this brings.

Following every dive now, our photos are placed on our Gallery section of the web page and are Free for all our Divers to download. Try and get you hands on last months UK Sport Diver magazine and reads the feature article on the Costa Blanca and Moraig Cave System. As always we have continued to feature heavily in Germany, United Kingdom and in Spain with many various press articles there, especially with our commitment to conservation. We have been delighted to see so many divers on holiday joining us for diving during your holidays.

Local collaboration continues with Hotels, Apartment and other Accommodation in our local area and we are very happy to have secured unbelievable rates for stays in the same.


Coming Up in September:

We are delighted to see so many people from the local community joining in the fun here at Greenwichdiving.  Along with our many special offers September planning is also very busy with plenty going on. An ideal to learn to dive or in fact improve you skills, so go for it, check our website and come and see us … It may be for a Try Dive or Instructor course, everybody is welcome here at Greenwichdiving

Clean up the Ocean week – Coinciding with International Clean Up Day on the 19th, from the 20th  -27th of September greenwichdiving will be supplying all willing divers with nets to collect any rubbish and pieces that don’t naturally live in the ocean. To help promote the clean up we are offering the project aware speciality course to all diver and non divers in the area for only 69 euros. Optional Dive and speciality course certification is available. SO if you would like to help the environment and keep our underwater world pristine contact the dive centre on how to enrol. Please note this course is also available to non divers and anyone wishing to keep our water ways clean

We have a member of staff gearing up for the Instructor examination this month; we wish her all the best and will let you know the result in next months Greenwich Bubble. We will also be conducting the AI and IDC courses here at Greenwich in October / November, followed by the Instructor Examination here in Calpe. Anybody interested in furthering there career in diving and becoming a PADI Pro, please contact the centre for further information on this.

Egypt Holiday
Egypt is fast becoming one of the most exciting and unique places to dive in the world, so why don’t you join us and see for yourself!
We have two trip running in December and January. The "SALMA" is a vessel of 26 meters in length, completely renovated in February 2009. It has 7 double cabins with air conditioning and private bathroom, large lounge with dining area and bar, TV, DVD and VCR, 2 decks for relaxing and sunbathing, a large diving platform and zodiac.
In short, a boat designed and built by divers for divers.
